  • Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias – Experience the charm of luminarias, a beautiful Mexican tradition where small, sand-filled bags with candles line the riverbanks, casting a warm glow over the water.
  • Ford Holiday Boat Caroling – Hear the sounds of the season drift through the air as boats filled with carolers cruise along the river, spreading holiday cheer nightly from December 5-23, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
  • Holiday Artisan Show – Find unique holiday treasures at this festive market! With over 40 vendors offering handmade pottery, textiles, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, beadwork, and more, it’s a perfect spot to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts.

Hosted by El Camino de San Antonio Missions, this celebration highlights the cultural and devotional practices of the San Antonio Missions and the Archdiocese. From November 30 to January 11, immerse yourself in the beauty of Matachines dances, Posadas, and the inspiring Christmas at the Missions Exhibit at the Margil Center.

  • Annual Matachine Pilgrimage of San Juan Diego | Dec. 7 | 7 a.m. | Witness hundreds of dancers process and pray as they honor Our Lady of Guadalupe — Begins at Mission San Juan Capistrano and concludes at Mission San José.
  • Matachine Festival | Dec. 8 | 1 - 5 p.m. | Mission Concepción’s El Camino Campus | Enjoy an afternoon of traditional dances, live music, food booths, and fair-trade shopping—all for free
