The public is encouraged to enjoy the caroling for free from the banks of the river or while seated on a restaurant patio. Experience the sounds of the season as caroling boats float along the river in the downtown area.

View Holiday Boat Caroling Guidelines

Know Before You Go

• All barge riders MUST participate in caroling.

• A USB loaded with popular holiday music and songbook folders will be on board - Bluetooth is NOT available on the barges.

• Boat capacity is 12 people, but please account for large, oversized, or heavy instruments. We can not safely accommodate more than 12 people on each barge -- please DO NOT bring a group that exceeds more than 12 people per barge. Groups exceeding the 12 person capacity will be turned away at check-in, starting with the 13th person in order to prioritize safety for your group.

• Check-in and boat departure is on the river level of the International Building at 203 S. St. Mary's, 78205 (river level/under the Biga on the Banks Restaurant for reference).

• Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled boat departure.

• We urge you to allow ample time to park, walk, and check-in.

• We DO NOT validate parking - please click HERE for nearby parking options.

• Drivers appreciate tips.

• We recommend dressing in festive attire.

• You will receive a confirmation email upon booking your boat with a copy of the Guidelines and the Boat Rider Waiver forms.
